The Clinical Outcome Committee of the Japanese Orthopaedic Association has released patient-based, multi-dimensional and scientific clinical evaluation tools, JOA Back Pain Evaluation Questionnaire (JOABPEQ) and JOA Cervical Myelopathy Evaluation Questionnaire (JOACMEQ) for clinical evaluation of patients with back pain and cervical myelopathy. These questionnaires are designed to replace the former JOA scoring systems for back pain and cervical myelopathy, which are surgeon-based evaluation tools. Download the files including the questionnaires, an Excel spread sheet for calculation of the scores and the user guide, test their feasibility and give us the feedbacks at jssr@earth.ocn.ne.jp.
